Green electricity for all
ELECTRICITY CANNOT BE CLEANER
In addition to the main business from the sawmill and planing mill, we are making intensive efforts to produce alternative, renewable energies such as wood pellets, district heating for our own use, and green electricity.
The biomass cogeneration plant has been in operation since June 2006 and feeds green electricity into the public power grid. This will allow 12,000 households to be supplied with green electricity. The heat generated is used for the company’s own needs (lumber drying, chip drying and space heating).
